Cardiff Airport is Wales's main international gateway, situated near Barry and the Vale of Glamorgan. It's a smaller airport, and EV infrastructure in the immediate area is more limited than at larger UK airports — but Cardiff itself has invested significantly in public charging.

Cardiff City Centre
20–25 minutes from the airport and far better choice. Cardiff has excellent EV infrastructure, particularly around the Bay area and city centre. The train from Cardiff Central to Rhoose (Cardiff Airport) is direct, making a city stay very workable.
Penarth
Just south of Cardiff, this Victorian seaside suburb has some lovely boutique hotels and growing EV facilities. A relaxed, characterful choice before a morning flight.
