    This policy explains how Aphiliate Ltd ("we", "us"), operating sento.travel, collects and uses your personal data, and your rights. We are the data controller. Contact: hello@sento.travel.

    1. The data we collect

    • Booking & account data — name, email, phone, billing details, guest/driver details, booking history, services booked.
    • Payment data — processed by Stripe; we receive confirmation and limited transaction data; we don't store your full card number.
    • Technical & usage data — IP, device/browser info, site usage via cookies (see Cookie Policy).
    • Communications — messages you send us.

    2. How and why we use it (legal bases)

    • To provide your booking (contract).
    • Customer service (legitimate interests).
    • To run and improve the site — security, troubleshooting, analytics (legitimate interests).
    • Marketing — only with your consent or where permitted for existing customers, opt out any time (consent / legitimate interests).
    • Legal compliance — tax, accounting, fraud prevention (legal obligation).

    3. Who we share it with

    • Travel suppliers and providers — including our inventory partner(s) (e.g. Emerging Travel Group / RateHawk / ZenHotels) and the hotel, parking, car hire or transfer provider — to fulfil your booking.
    • Service providers — e.g. Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting/backend), email and analytics tools.
    • Authorities/advisers where required by law.

    We do not sell your personal data.

    With Marketing consent, Awin (advertiser 131607) receives affiliate click identifiers, booking reference, product value excluding fees and VAT, currency and voucher code for affiliate attribution and campaign measurement. We do not send your email, phone or name for customer matching. Sento stores the Awin click identifier in a first-party cookie and local storage for up to 180 days. We record your advertising choice, visitor identifier, time, region where known and the notice version shown; booking records reference that choice. You can withdraw using Cookie settings in the footer; this stops future reporting and deletes our Awin click identifier.

    4. International transfers

    Some providers may be outside the UK; where we transfer data abroad we rely on appropriate safeguards (UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses).

    5. How long we keep it

    Only as long as necessary, and to meet legal/accounting requirements (typically up to 6 years for transaction records), then deleted or anonymised.

    6. Your rights

    Access, correct, delete, restrict or object; data portability; withdraw consent any time — email hello@sento.travel. You may also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

    7. Security

    Appropriate technical and organisational measures; no internet transmission is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

    We may update this policy and will post the current version here.
