Luton Airport is compact and well-connected — the M1 and A505 give good access from the Midlands, London, and the East. The surrounding area has improved notably on EV infrastructure, particularly around Luton town centre and the M1 corridor.
Best Areas
Luton Town Centre
10 minutes from the terminal, with a better selection of hotels than the immediate airport area. EV charging has expanded significantly here. A taxi or short drive to the airport the next morning is easy.
Harpenden and St Albans
If you want somewhere nicer to stay — leafy Hertfordshire villages with good hotels — and you don't mind a 20-minute drive to the airport, these are excellent options. St Albans in particular has solid EV infrastructure.
Dunstable
West of Luton with some solid budget-to-mid hotel options and growing EV facilities.
Charging labels on Sento
Stays on Sento are labelled charging on-site, charging nearby or standard — confirm charging with the property or a live charging map such as Zapmap before you travel. A Sento Charging Promise is coming soon.
