Bath is one of England's most beautiful cities — Roman baths, Georgian crescents, the River Avon — and it's become a genuinely good city for EV drivers, with a growing network of charge points and hotels that have invested in EV facilities.
Public Charging in Bath
- Bath & North East Somerset Council has deployed on-street chargers in Widcombe, Oldfield Park, and city centre streets
- Pod Point at major supermarkets including Sainsbury's and Waitrose
- BP Pulse in SouthGate and other city car parks
The Park and Ride at Lansdown (north of the city) has EV charging — another good option for visiting the centre without driving in.
EV Hotels in Bath
City Centre (Great Pulteney Street, Sydney Place)
Bath's most prestigious hotel addresses. Several Georgian hotels have added EV charging to their basement or nearby parking — expensive but special.
Bathwick and Larkhall
East of the centre, quieter and slightly cheaper, with some excellent independent hotels and growing EV provision.
Newbridge
Western Bath, practical and well-connected to the A4 and M4.
