The villages immediately around the airport. Practical options, some with EV charging. Castle Donington also has the Donington Park circuit nearby, which gives it more of a vibe than your average airport village.
Nottingham South
About 20 minutes from the airport on the M1. Strong hotel selection, great nightlife if you want a city send-off before your holiday. EV charging is solid throughout the city.
Derby East
Similarly close, with good hotel choice and improving EV infrastructure.
Loughborough
South of the airport, with solid mid-range hotels and good EV provision. The A60 is an easy run to the terminal.
