The Route
Bristol → Taunton → Exeter → Dartmoor → Plymouth → Looe → Fowey → St Austell → Truro → St Ives → Penzance. Around 230 miles from Bristol.
Charging En Route
The M5 from Bristol to Exeter has good motorway charging. Beyond Exeter, coverage is patchier but manageable:
- Exeter — charge up here. Good facilities
- Plymouth — excellent charging, mid-route hub
- Truro — good public charging in the county town
- Penzance and St Ives — some provision; charge in Truro before heading west
Cornwall's Atlantic coastline can be very remote. Plan carefully beyond Truro.
