Brighton has long been ahead of the curve on environmental issues, and its EV infrastructure reflects that. The city and surrounding areas are well-served, and the A23/M23 corridor from London has good rapid charging coverage.
Public Charging in Brighton
- Ubitricity lamp post chargers are widespread across Hove and Brighton

EV Hotels in Brighton
The Seafront (Kings Road)
Brighton's grandest hotel strip. Several hotels here have upgraded EV facilities in their car parks. Book early — seafront parking is limited.
The Lanes
Brighton's bohemian heart. Boutique hotels, some with charging.
Hove (Western Road, First Avenue)
Quieter than central Brighton, with better parking and growing EV provision. A solid choice.

The Drive from London
The M23/A23 is one of the better-served routes for EV drivers. Motorway services at Clacket Lane and Pease Pottage have rapid chargers, and you'll typically have more than enough range for the 50-mile journey.
Charging labels on Sento
Stays on Sento are labelled charging on-site, charging nearby or standard — confirm charging with the property or a live charging map such as Zapmap before you travel. A Sento Charging Promise is coming soon.
