The Ford Mustang Mach-E has carved out a loyal following in the UK since its launch — a proper crossover with good range and a characterful design. Here's how to charge it.
Mach-E Charging Specs
- DC rapid: up to 150kW
- AC: up to 11kW (3-phase)
- Range: around 260–300 miles (Extended Range AWD, real-world UK)
Charging Options
The Mach-E can use any CCS-equipped public charger in the UK — it's fully network-agnostic.
Ford doesn't operate its own charging network in the UK (unlike Tesla), so you're using third-party networks exclusively. The good news is that CCS coverage in the UK is now excellent.
Best Networks
- Gridserve — reliable, high-power, and UK-wide
- Osprey — strong in areas Gridserve doesn't serve well
- BP Pulse — widely accessible, useful on longer routes
